AAFA

AAFA is committed to raising up African Americans with a prophetic voice to the black community in leading the bold proclamation of the word of the Lord for this generation. It is vital in this hour to have true discernment, just as the prophet Samuel did when he recognized young David. Anointed leaders and worshipers are emerging today, and it is important to encourage and strengthen them. The Lord desires to call forth a generation of African American youth to turn from the [social size="standard" style="colour"]main attitude of the age and to cry out for a great harvest of souls within the black community in America.

Revelation 5:9–10 tells us that Jesus will have for Himself an inheritance of believers from every tribe and tongue and nation on the earth. This includes the African American community. But a crisis is taking place. Threatened by AIDS, abortion, and imprisonment, the black community is the only population in the United States that is decreasing at an increasing rate. The black community is also in a spiritual crisis. Churches languish, and 80 percent of Islamic converts come from the Church, 85 percent of those being African American. A culture of death, Islam, violence, and hip-hop has swallowed up much of the youth within the black community.
However, in this hour the Holy Spirit is answering with a divine response. God is calling forth leaders from the black community who will arise as prophetic voices and take their place in the Lord’s end-time revival. AAFA believes it is time to work and pray for the Lord to bring about this cultural shift within the African American population.
